The Emergency Medicine Program will provide each resident with three lab coats at the time of orientation. Laundry services for these lab coats are provided by the hospital at no charge. It is suggested that you wear your lab coat at all times. You are required to wear your name tag and beeper at all times.

While working in the Emergency Center, it is suggested that you either wear the departmental scrubs (provided by the program) or other professional attire. The hospital does not provide nor launder scrubs worn in the ED.

It is important to have on and functioning, your Vocera communicator.

While on other services, their dress code will prevail.
