Oliver F Garrison, MD

Class of 2019
BS – Economics – St. Olaf College
MD – University of Minnesota

Interests: “True to mindset of emergency medicine, I’m interested in more activities than I have time for. I love the Twin Cities because I get the benefits of a city (great food, music, sports, events), but have access to cross-country skiing, road biking, mountain biking, and great outdoor running. I like music and film and I go to a few concerts a year (preferably outdoor), and at home when nobody’s listening I play the guitar and harmonica. Creative projects are very fulfilling for me too, which range from making podcasts and videos, to just working on my car or making a picture frame for my living room.”

Interests: “I enjoy various outdoor activities like hiking, and snowboarding. But being a 3 sport athlete in high school, I'm game for any activity that gets me moving. I've always loved reading but recently I've found I most enjoy online experience blogs and think pieces. Having grown up/gone to college in the Midwest at the University of Michigan watching Big 10 football is Saturday tradition during the fall months. Lastly, discovering new music/artists and going to live shows is also a huge passion.”
